Manager, Regional Financial Planning & Analysis

This position is based in Hong Kong.

Representative Duties

Financial Planning – As the head of the FP&A function for SHURE Asia you will have responsibility for all aspects of the group’s forecasting and budgeting processes. Shure Asia is currently undertakes Multi Year Plan (MYP) and annual budget processes, all of which you will be expected to not only manage but also challenge and develop further. Shure is currently undertakes to revamp its budgeting processes and you are required to work with Global FP&A team to develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast and implementation at regional level.

Commercial Analysis & Support – You will be responsible for providing relevant and insightful analysis to the commercial function and playing a lead role in key discussions and decision processes on new product launches, customer assessment, new markets, inventory management, P&L and operating cost and profitability analysis etc. You will be required to develop financial models and analyse them to support strategic initiatives. The Head of all functions (including Marketing and Sales) and the FD and Regional Controller will be key stakeholders to this role.

Operational Analysis – You will also be responsible, through the team in the market/country, for providing all operational analysis for the business. The FP&A team are co-pilot to the business partners (Marketing and Sales of all verticals) and Operations (Customers Services, Logistics, IT, HR and Legal) and provide financial analysis of monthly results along with forecasting and budgeting support to their key stakeholders. Your role will also involve the analysis of trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), especially relating to financial metrics such as Sales, Expenditures, Profit Margin and Balance Sheet (Shape of the Finance). One of the key initial role for the FP&A Manager is to develop a standardize reporting templates, revamp existing or implementing new process and procedures for key operation processes.


Qualifications & Experience

  • A University Degree from a recognized institution. Professional Qualification will be a Plus.
  • A minimum of 10 years of industry experience, preferably in US Multinational and CPG/FMCG field. Consumer electronic experience is a plus though not essential.
  • Has a strong track record of playing a lead role in forecasting and budget processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver process improvement and change management.


  • Has a high level of understanding of dealing with a multi-site business, preferably in B2B, B2C, ECom environment. Will have extensive budgeting and forecasting experience including bringing together data from a number of different systems. Has excellent commercial knowledge and awareness.

  • Strong and proven ability to plan, organize and prioritize own workload, and to manage the workload of others to ensure deadlines are met.
  • High level of commercial acumen with the ability to think creatively and influence commercial decisions.
